Great location for many tourist sites. Registration staff extremely helpful!!
The elevator is on level 0 (ground level), and the registration desk is level 1. A bit confusing at first.
This boutique hotel is in a terrific location for exploring historic Rome. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is surprisingly quiet for the location!
A wonderful experience once entrance was found by very helpful taxi driver. Staff first class and very efficient when I thought I had lost a purse. Location excellent; buffet breakfast better than other city centre hotels and spacious, well eqipped room.
The location is excellent: within walking distance of most sites and just a few minutes away from the metro station of Piazza Repubblica. My room was spotlessly clean and exceptionally quiet for being in such a central location. La sig.ra Francesca went out of her way to answer my questions about the use of the Roma Pass. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay and I would gladly return to Hotel Gea.
The hotel is very close to many touristic sites and to the subway and bus station. The hotel staff is speaks English very good and it is qualified to provide any information about Rome (transportation, touristic sites, restaurants).
Small and cosy. Each room was tastefully decorated with its own theme. Spacious bathrooms with good range of toiletries provided. Free wireless internet access was a bonus. Good breakfast buffet with hot beverages prepared for you. Excellent location. 10 min walk from main rail station and 15min walk to ancient Rome.
Walking distance from all sightseeing places, clean and quiet room.
Very nice and friendly hotel. Room was very clean. Staff was speaking good english. Breakfast was large (buffet). At the las day we could live our luggege at the information desk.
The staff at Hotel Gea Di Vulcano was exceptional! They were very helpful with suggesting local eateries, Also loved the fact that they had a laptop with internet connection in the lobby that the guests could use! Also, another very nice touch was the book shelf as I had finished my book that I brought along with me and was able to choose another book to read at night. There was a selection in English as well as Italian. The bathroom was very spacious and clean as were the rooms. They were very accomodating and I would recommend this hotel to my friends.
the only thing I was just a little turned off by was the hardness of the mattress.
The hotel is quiet and very good located
Working air conditioning, good breakfast. Excellent location to metro and main train station.
Some of the staff spoke poor english, which made it difficult to communicate at times. Very few english channels on tv (didn't have SkyTV like other hotels). Shower didn't had warm water but not super hot.
The staff was incredibly helpful and extremely friendly. The atmosphere of the entrance was very peaceful and the gates provided extra security. The room was a very decent size for the money. The breakfast was typical but tasty.
The was a little bit of mold on the walls and the ceiling in the shower area.
The location was around the corner from Termini, exactly what I wanted.
It was quite pricey, small, uncomfortable and the icing on the cake was a lack of hot water to take showers with each morning.
Arriving at Rome Fiumucino Airport, Express Leonardo train from airport terminal to Terminal station in the center of Rome, 10/15 minute walk to hotel - brilliant. Extremely convenient location to visit Rome, very friendly and helpful staff.
Location was fantastic, 5 minute walk from the train station. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was nice. Room was clean and a decent size.
